Didn’t workStarted with virgin medium/light brown hair with some greys, and just finished drying my hair after using. My hair is the same colour as I started with, with more gold/copper added. Not what I expectedThe instructions were very unclear. they said roots only, however the colour was so different from my natural colour I decided to ignore this and apply to roots first, leaving for half the time and then spreading onto the rest of my hair and leaving for the remainder. glad I did as the colour was much darker than I expected and would have been ridiculous if just used on my roots. I had chosen perminent colour but wanted to still be able to see the variations in my hair (I had a lot of grown out roots but my ends were several colours from highlights) I hoped it would be darker at the roots but would then show varing shades throughout the rest of my hair, instead the result was just all dark and a block colour all over. I wouldn't mind but it was £27 and i would have gotten the same effect from a £8 box dye. my hair has been frizzy since I died it even though it has been 10 months since I last dyed my hair in the salon (bleach free highlights) so my hair was in pretty good condition before. The texture of my curls has also changed and they had dropped out a bit. After about 5-6 washes it is starting to look better than it did. Like color, doesn’t cover grayI’m so disappointed. I tried the color twice in case I messed up the first time. But sadly no. The color is very nice, but by the 2nd wash my gray is showing. 2 of 2 people found this review helpful. Did you? |

Lovely quality productThe shade was exactly what I had asked for and I'm particularly impressed with the quality of the shampoo and conditioner which left my hair very soft and silky. The instructions were easy to follow (loved the little thoughtful touches - even a sticker is included to tape the instruction sheet up for easy at- a -glance viewing without having to handle the leaflet and get dye all over it!) You also get two pairs of good quality latex gloves 🧤. What's not to like? Looking forward to my next pack. So happy with my order!I decided to give esalon a chance cause I wanted a Demi permanent colour and couldn’t find in the shops and I’m sick of paying €90 for an all over colour and my god am I over the moon with the order the colour is just perfect and I am definitely keeping the subscription going! 1 of 2 people found this review helpful.
