The bestI have always used box hair dye due to the low cost and easily accessible. I was spending endless amounts of money trying to get the desired look, or just simply trying to find something that covered up my grey hairs longer than 3-4 weeks. Since I've used esalon it's been a game changer, colour lasts longer and looks more professional, I get a lot long between dying my hair than I did with box dyes. Custom colorThe color was very good. First I tried the demi color dark blond to cover my platinum blond looked grate however the texture of my hair was not good after dying with the demi, the second time I used the demi it worked terrible did not cover my grays and my hair was very corse and dry no shine. eSolon where very helpful and sent me permanent color at no charge, I waited the full 4 weeks and applied it , The permanent color was not as harsh but still more drying then the store bought color permanent dye . Bottom line thier dye is to harsh for my hair. I only shampoo once a week and I take good care of my long hair. Color is not what I wantedThis is my second time coloring with eSalon. First off, my grays do not take this color very well - I have to process for over an hour which might be why My hair feels really dry and damaged…. Also it’s auburn with red tones and I included in my review from last time that I wanted to remove the brassiness and neutralize red! Good pigment but leaves hair very dry.Not super happy with it. My hair is more than 60% grey, it did cover quite a bit of the greys but it left my hair very dry and the colour is very brassy, where it should have been ash. Loving the Color!!I really liked the shade of color and the excellent coverage. However, I really didn't like the texture of my hair after the process.
