heading in the right direction ! YAY!Hi, we're getting there - i believe i still need a few tweaks - it seems a big 'hot' or too bright still - better than last time, but still the color can look a bit overly strong and come off not natural enough. I don't know if the 'fix' would be to tone down the red? (go ab it more in the darker blonde direction ? and/or if there's a 'toning ' change that would make it better? thanks! and i'll call in as well. looking forward to getting there with you guys! :) PS - i consulted with Arianna and she was great! she suggested a swap between the golden and the dark blonde - i believe..? all i want to make sure is that it still will look RED - just not as bright or 'brash' - that's my only lingering concern at this time...thanks so much! 0 of 0 people found this review helpful. Caused huge allergic reactionI have been using eSalon's hair dyes since lockdown and was originally very happy. The last couple of shipments of my custom colour have caused me to have an allergic reaction. Initially like contact dermatitis - itching, flaking and sore around my scalp and ears. This time, my forehead is completely swollen and I am in a lot of pain. This didnt happen before and I dont know if the product has changed or my sensitivity has, but I would avoid without doing a full test beforehand. 0 of 0 people found this review helpful. Did you? |

Best Home Custom Color OptionI love my new custom color set from esalon. I honestly didn’t think there would be a difference between what I had been purchasing over the counter and what I would get with a custom set because I dye my hair natural black. Boy was I wrong!! I noticed a huge difference. The “natural” black I had been using often seemed a bit intense but I figured after trying multiple brands, that’s just the way black hair dye looked. I was so wrong. I am loving my hair. It’s almost the exact shade of black it used to be before I started dying it. The step by step instructions were perfect and the conditioner was fabulous. I am a black female and do not relax or straighten my hair. Ergo, dye is the only chemical I have been using in my hair for years. My new custom set did exactly what was promised. Thank you!! My Custom Color Set is now on my short list of favorite natural girl products!! Oh and there’s no ammonia so there was no harsh smell. I now happily subscribe and it comes right to my door.
