Perfect everytime!I sent my colorist the formula used on a spontaneous trip to the salon and it was matched perfectly! Even when I change things up, I've been pleased every time. Not to mention they include EVERYTHING you need to color at home. Disappointed VERY disappointed ☹️My hair has been previously bleached and had a copper semi permanent color. Wanted to go more natural so decided a dark brown would be a nice change. Consulted with the color special via email several times about it. (Wanted to make sure because of my previously bleached hair) sent several photos as well. They say they customized a color especially for my needs to get desired results. NO not the case at all! 1st off My hair turned black with a greenish tint all over and my roots were almost 2 shades lighter. After 1st shampoo (3 days wearing a hat) a ton of color came out but it didn't fade gradually more like drastically into a dull greyish brown but in sunlight green tone and roots a completely different shade and tone. Awful. It's been 10 daysafter coloring my hair & 3 shampoos and nothing is going in my favor. Was super excited cuz the reviews I read. Don't think the colorist knew what she was doing. Finally got it right!!Love the color finally!! My color stylist suggested ash and it worked perfectly to get rid of the unwanted red/black/orange tones. It took several times but I'm happy with the color. Only thing is after a couple of weeks my roots at my part line start to fade and turn gray. I have been using eSalon for yearsI am switching to Madison Reed - I just tried it and found it works better than eSalon. While using the eSalon hair color, after only the first washing of my hair, the e-Salon hair color faded terribly, most of my grey-colored hair was washed out and faded. The color did not stay dark as it should. I am forced to using coloring hair-spray until my next coloring which I don't like - it leaves my hair dull fake looking. I am needing to color my hair every 7-10 days, since the eSalon color is gone or faded from my scalp area, cap area and around my face after the first washing. . 2 of 2 people found this review helpful.
