Unreal resultsMy hair is red, which is hard to dye, and I also had bleached ends. I wanted a darker red, but not a purple or orange red (with me?)...and eSalon TOTALLY DELIVERED. SO HappyAfter a lifetime of dying my own hair, I splurged and spent four years having my hair salon dyed. I decided to tighten my budget, but didn’t want to destroy my hair, I went with esalon. Instagram Ad WinAfter spending over $100 at the salon for every root touchup, I needed to try something else and Instagram knew it. I clicked the ad, chose my color, described my desired result, and uploaded a photo. I was very pleasantly surprised with eSalon's customer service; I was contacted by a team member who explained that the color I chose would not give me the result I said I wanted and she suggested another color. I took her advice and the package arrived a few days later. The kit was complete with gloves and a brush, which I found super helpful for doing a root touch up. I chose a non-ammonia formula, so there was no stink. The formula was thick so there was no drip. The color came out great and covered all the grays! Too Bright and not at all a nice colourI was expecting a Dark Brown with a Mahogany undertone - Images provided of existing colour to aid as requested with the explanation/request. I used following the instructions provided, but the end result was a harsh and bright red that didn't suit me or look appealing (having been red before this was simply not a nice red). I've had no issue with colour previously from here, was always very happy with the results. Maybe someone miscalculated or formulated on this occasion, as looking more in-depth at the formulation details online it mentions lighter...not at all what I asked about, as I'm naturally on the darker side with my hair and wanted to stay closer to that. I did immediately contact to query and raise the issue, no response as of yet which is disappointing.
