It's working for meI use to use box color religiously for my hair; as I'm turning grayer by the minute. It was cheaper but the color would fade at the roots pretty quickly. E-Salon color is a bit pricier but the color doesn't fade quickly. Its definitely has more tones in it (which I like). It doesn't look like flat, matte 1 color from a box. I've gotten quite a few compliments on it. As a natural curly WOC it's always been hard to find a color I like that worked with my skin tone. It took me 2 tries of coloring my hair to write this; the color is definitely more flattering than what I was getting in a box. COLOR DIFFERENTI was very happy with my color the first two times I ordered but this last batch was not the same color, even though it stated on the booklet it was the same color ratio. New fanI am extremely pleased with this product. I color my hair every 5-6 weeks to cover a crown of grey around my hairline. I usually home color from Sally's. I normally like those results but I decided to try ESALON. I wanted to get away from the red in my hair. I left notes and the colorist got it perfect! It covered my grey in very natural way.
