Feels like wax in my hair

I have been a loyal esalon user for years and have recommended the service to a lot of people- I loved it. The past year something changed in their product. Now it takes several shampoos to get the thick waxy like substance out of my hair- it feels awful. I'm not sure if esalon has changed suppliers or not, but if they did, they need to switch back. My sisters also use esalon and when I asked them if they noticed a change they did as well. The color is not the same either. It fades much faster. It is not as dark and rich as before, it has much more of a brass tone to it.

It was my first time. I LOVE dark hair, but i like really ashy tones, my stylist killed it! Love it!
