Ruined my hairAfter the first kit I ordered didn't cover my greys (less than 20% of my hair so not a lot of grey to cover) they sent me another kit with a different formula for the roots and the lengths. However as there were different amounts of developer, the sun has lightened the top of my hair differently to the lengths and I now have a visible tide mark around the top of my head. It is too soon to dye my hair all over again so I'm using temporary gloss to try and blend it and then will likely have to go to a salon. I contacted the support team for advice on how to fix it and they didn't even respond. I have cancelled and would advise others to proceed with caution. I will say though I loved the colour both times I've used it although it didn't cover my fine greys at my temples either time. 0 of 0 people found this review helpful. Did you? |

Great value and easy to use—just goes a bit light!This hair dye is incredibly easy to apply. It left my hair feeling great! My only minor issue is that the final color came out a bit lighter than the shade I ordered. However, the formula is fantastic and I still highly recommend it. A bit challenging for a first timerThe application stage was okay but I found the rinsing off process really challenging. The colour was very thick and gloopy and it got everywhere. The colour at my roots is perfect, but my lengths seemed to have grabbed the colour. They are a couple of shades darker. I followed the timings perfectly. 0 of 0 people found this review helpful. First time :successFirst time I ordered your product I needed to colour my roots after having had my colour & highlights at my hairdresser after 2 weeks! Cannot go every 2 weeks therefore gave a go at your products went to your website & follow the instructions (description if my hair needs photo etc After a couple of weeks received your products :open the box read the instructions closed the box ! I was nervous w”what if it messes my hair lots of negative thoughts A week later needed my roots to look impeccable so I tried. I was amazed by the results it really looks like it was done professionally. I used only half the tint product hopefully I will use the balance when I need it next. Next level home colorThis was my first order with esalon. I had spoken to one of their colorist prior so I was confident that it would come out correct. I am shooting for a dark copper, however my current color was more burgundy. I followed the directions that were in my new well stocked kit, however the color was still in the burgundy family. The color is still beautiful just not on the wheel of what I wanted. I'm sure it will take a couple more treatments to get where I want to be, but I will say it covered my silver roots perfectly.
