At home perfection!I am SO impressed with this product, it’s the perfect colour. I have blond roots and every at-home dye always ends up with me having flaming red roots and faded ends, but with separate root & ends mixes, my hair ended up the perfect colour all over!! Charged without authorisationJust phoned customer services to stop an order that I did not authorise for £71 (hair dye and other hair products). They responded with that's it's too late to cancel as the items are already shipped and it will be at my expense to return the product. I have previously tried to cancel these products but it's near impossible on the website, and you can only delay, for these dates to creep up and you get charged again. I explained this, and the customer services were less than helpful so when I explained that I'll be writing a review on how customers are held ransom to maintain orders without authorisation or an ability to cancel online, her response was "you do that". I was going to keep ordering the hair dye, but after this response, I absolutely will find an alternative option as this isn't an inexpensive product. Custom color kitI’ve been a loyal eSalon customer since February 2014, and my experience truly spans the long haul. After giving birth to my first child, I lost my natural warm chestnut red luster—hello new baby, hello mouse-brown hair. I was devastated. I sent in photos of my pre-pregnancy color, and eSalon nailed a close match on my very first order. With small tweaks on my second and third orders, the color became spot on—exactly how my hair used to grow out of my head. In the early years, I used a demi-permanent custom mix. My hair stayed in excellent condition, and I loved that there was no harsh line of demarcation as it grew out. Of course, demi-permanent color fades—that’s just its nature—so I supplemented with color-enhancing products, masks, and leave-in treatments. Over time, as I settled into a regular coloring routine and fell completely in love with my restored color, I switched to permanent color. There was simply no going back to dull, gray-toned brown. Over the years, I’ve adjusted my formula seasonally—brighter and lighter for summer, richer and darker for winter. As I began to gray, I asked for a slightly lighter overall value and eventually increased gray coverage. Whether through formula changes or chemistry adjustments, I can confidently say my gray is fully covered, and I’m extremely satisfied.
