Nice even ColourAlthough it is not the colour that I would have chosen, it has turned out nice. I was wanting a dark brown, to match my normal hair colour, But my stylist thought that it would be better to go darker gradually. I am pleased that this was suggested to me. I am happy with the colour, it has coloured evenly. A suggestion would be to put the patch test in the colouring instructions, as this was missed out because I did not open the shampoo box until the end. Pleasantly surprisedThis was my first time trying this hair dye and after I had ordered the color, I had second thoughts on if it were going to be what I even really wanted. My hair had tints of red that wouldn’t go away. I had picked the dark golden brown that was recommended to me and was afraid that it may be too dark which usually makes me feel like my hair looks unnatural. Once it came, I dyed my hair disregarding the concerns I had and to my surprise the color is vibrant and natural looking instantly. The golden tints came through and I see no red that I had. I like the flexibility with eSalonThe flexibility of turning the plan on and off will bring me back again. The color they sent matched my existing color very well, and it lasted about a week longer than my stylist's color. The instructions were thorough. I've never done my own color before, and with my husband's help, we did a pretty credible job. We are not good at it, and neither of us really enjoyed the process - but that's no reflection on the product! One suggestion - one extended video that shows all the steps, rather than hunting the separate videos and watching them out of order. (For the absolute beginners.) They were good videos when we pieced them together. With easing pandemic restrictions, I am back with my stylist - but with new independence. I'm not living at the mercy of her schedule. orange hairI went with an ash blonde to try to negate this but still got the orange hair I feared I would be getting. Reminds me of when I tried to dye my own hair in middle school ugh. Good color but mid shaft and ends very dryI loved the packaging, including the directions. They were very clear. I was happy with the root color. The ends color had a super strong odor and unfortunately left my ends very dry. It also left a thick, almost waxy coating on the mid shaft and ends. 0 of 0 people found this review helpful. It was okMy natural colour is brown but I bleached my hair and decided to go copper which I love. I've been using box dyes to top up the copper colour but then I saw this site. I really wanted a more browny copper which is what I asked for ..... but sadly my hair is now 2 tone .... a nice warm copper at the top and getting redder as it goes down towards the ends. Ash Blonde ended up Strawberry blondeI wanted an ash blonde and it ended up being a strawberry blonde almost red and was very brassy I did have toner on hand as I know blonde colors tend to come out brassy and I do have slightly red undertones in my hair but I was very unhappy with how the color came out overall even after using the toner and getting rid of most of the brassiness I was left with a strawberry blonde/red color. I did attach a picture of the color I am trying to get (an ash blonde) in my color adjustments and hopefully they will be able to correct until then I guess I'm stuck with this red for a few weeks. 😞 0 of 0 people found this review helpful.
