The semi-permanent is great for very short hairMy hair is short, thin, and very light brown mixed with gray. I simply wanted the grays to look blond. Although I'm in my 70s I have always been afraid to use permanent color because roots will show so quickly with my haircut. My hair stylist agrees with me and told me to keep doing it this way. I've used eSalon since 2016 and have tweaked the color to be lighter and more neutral. It works very well and is simple to do. Great color with few exceptionsAfter the initial dye, my hair became the most subtle red vibrant colour and I loved it... Until the two weeks were over and I had my old boring color back. I understand that red takes a long time to stick, but even with all the care I do and precautions I take, I just wished it would have stayed longer. Loved everything about esalon ..Color was a beautiful dark brown, warm rich, & shiny. However it was almost on the verge of black and since I am so fair skinned it almost made me look washed out. what happenned?i put color on my roots and left it on for 45 minutes. i did not wash my hair for 3 days. after about a week i had only washed my hair twice. the color has completely lifted off my roots at the hairline above my forehead. i had to use the powdered root cover up that i usually have to use after a few weeks w the drug store box of dye i sometimes use. i am extremely disappointed . The first esalon color was awesome. i dont know what happened but it was actually worse than the box dye i use... please contact me...i really dont want to post this review but could not find a way to contact you...thanks- Tracy 2 of 2 people found this review helpful. Lots of changesI have been using eSalon for 7 years. This is my first bad experience. I did not receive a shampoo or conditioner packet in my "kit". The gloves were blue medical looking gloves, not the fancy feeling white, pink, or other fun color, which broke when I put them on. The developer was a different color (opaque white vs clear white) and the smell was very strong and stung my eyes. Lastly, I color my hair every 3 weeks and use the root treatment and ends refresher each time. When it is time for my color, 3 weeks after the last color, my ends are VERY faded - I would say 2-3 shades lighter. 1 of 1 people found this review helpful. Did you? |

2 completely different tonesMy 1st order wasn’t quite the right tone I was aiming for so I asked for the colour to be adjusted. The 1st order faded so fast aswell.
