Color is consistant.In the past, I've ended up with either too light, or too dark...maybe the store was out of my color, but I like the consistency I get with eSalon. My thick coarse hair hasn't turned brassy orange even with the beating of summer swimming, tho I take procautions to protect it. Love my subscriptionI really love the product. One thing I did with my first order was do two add ons- one a tint rinse and a deep conditioning treatment. The tint really helps!
