Mix your toner with your developer and apply to virgin or previously-coloured hair to revive your shade. Set your timer for 15 minutes, then rinse, and style.

You can use the Colour Pro Toner to refresh your hair colour whenever it’s looking dull or faded. You’re also able to use your Toner while you colour your roots with your custom hair colour and by itself to refresh dull ends. Your toner comes with a set of instructions to help, whether you’re looking to refresh your all-over hair colour or just your mid-length and ends.
No, the toner is a demi-permanent formula and is not made to cover grey hair, nor will it lift or lighten your hair colour. If you’d like to cover your greys, try our permanent hair colour formula or chat with a Colourist so they can help formulate the right custom shade for you.
Tint Rinse is a temporary colour option and our Colour Pro Toner is a demi-permanent hair colour that is mixed with a low-volume developer. Tint Rinse is the perfect in-shower product you can use to temporarily refresh your hair colour in-between your shampoo and conditioner.
Tint Rinse is temporary colour, so it’ll only last a couple of washes. If you want something that’s longer-lasting and can add intensity to your vibrant hair colours, this Toner works to boost or balance your shade for up to 24 washes.
Yes, your Toner is not made to cover greys, nor will it lift or lighten your hair colour. Your custom hair colour included with your Colour Set can be formulated to cover greying roots and regrowth.
No, you can use your toner by itself whenever your hair colour needs a boost or balance. However, if you’re just touching up your roots with your usual custom Colour Set order, you can use your toner to refresh your mid-length to ends as well. We’ve included those instructions with your Toner to guide you through the process, step by step.
Unfortunately, no, any unused hair colour exposed to the air will oxidise and change the overall look of your colour. Simply rinse out your bottle, remove the cap, and recycle it. The best colour is always the freshest colour.
Your colour may look different in the bottle before it’s mixed with your developer and once you’ve applied it to your hair but that’s because it’s oxidising. The colour toner you’ve ordered will be the same colour as the result you’re looking for and as described.
