I'm sorry to say I wasn't so impressed with this color care shampoo. It left my hair feeling pretty dry and tangled and brittle. At my age, I can't afford breakage. Although it did seem to preserve my color a bit longer than your average color care shampoo's that you'd buy in store. I likely will not buy this again though.

Sad to say that just as the shampoo that goes with this conditioner I was not too impressed with this product either. After shampooing, I used this conditioner and still my hair became dry, brittle, and very tangled. I felt as though my hair was tied up in knots. I already have issues with tangles and breakage and this just made matters worse for me. Sorry to say but it is not my favorite product.

Unfortunately, every time I used this product, my scalp would end up itching horribly. I finally had to stop using it. I'm sure it's a fine product but something in the ingredients didn't agree with my skin and I couldn't use it. Won't be ordering it again.

I really do not get the lather I like in my shampoo with this one I have to use too much and this is very expensive to have to use too much..

I tried both the shampoo and conditioner, and while both were fine, they weren't as rich (as in easy to lather and distribute) as other brands, and they were more expensive. Also, I found the dispensers a little frustrating - hard to get the product out.

Many shampoos use chemicals such as Sodium Lauryl Sulfate to create a foamy lather. This can often strip the hair of color or moisture, so we don't use sulfates in our products. If you need a stronger lather to get your hair clean, simply add some water to the shampoo applied on your hair and massage through your scalp. This shampoo is good for retaining the original color that one dyes the hair with; however, it fails to suds up so I find myself adding more "squirts" of it until I feel enough suds are there to clean my hair.

The first tiimes I used this shampoo, my hair was shiny and pretty afterwards. It does seem to protect color, but it leaves my hair dull, limp and not clean-feeling. I am not going to use it any longer.

It works great with the color, but takes 6-8 pumps to get anywhere near enough for my medium length hair. And even then i don't feel like there is enough lather to really get my hair clean.

When you're in a hurry, you don't need a poorly designed dispenser, it takes ages to get a good amount out. Nightmare in the shower trying to push down on the pump, I ended up unscrewing bottle and losing half the shampoo, really angry because the product isn't cheap!. Bottle looks great but sadly that's not enough, nor is the product so amazing you would tolerate the bottle for the contents

My hair seems to absorb the shampoo but it does not create much lather and it hard to rinse out. I do not like the way my hair feels afterwards unless I use the conditioner. May work better on other hair types.

I do have fine hair, but quite a bit. I use this conditioner 1 or 2 times a week, but spaced out. If I use it twice in a row then my hair looks greasy and weighed down. And I only use conditioner on my ends. Not the roots. I do use the Leave-in Conditioner after every shower though.

So I use the packets with each dye kit that comes and love them, but for some reason the stuff in the bottle doesn't lather up well. It seems like I pump and pump and pump shampoo out and it just doesnt lather. I wash my hair twice trying to get a good lather. I do wash my hair every other day so I will try to see if every day works better, but I have never had this problem with ther shampoos. This shampoo is difficult to use if you have long hair or your hair is at all thick. I regularly use 8 or 9 pumps to get enough to clean my hair, and the amount that comes out with each pump is what I'd use on a baby's head. I won't buy this again.
